Brittney Johnson

Brittney Johnson has long been devoted to philanthropic efforts, lending her time and energy to causes ranging from children's initiatives to community outreach programs. Guided by compassion and a commitment to service, she brings a wealth of experience in charitable work to Give It Away. Brittney is passionate about joining Jamey in building a legacy of generosity, ensuring the foundation uplifts families and communities with lasting impact.

In May 2025, Jamey and Brittney were married, beginning a new chapter not only in their personal lives but in their shared vision for service. Combining their individual histories of philanthropy, they launched Give It Away as a way to unite their passions and extend their reach. Together, they are dedicated to strengthening communities, supporting causes close to their hearts, and ensuring the foundation fulfills its goals of giving back in meaningful, lasting ways.

The Give It Away Foundation

When Jamey Johnson arrived in Nashville in 2002, he came to make his mark in country music. But he also made his mark supporting charitable organizations. This foundation serves to help Jamey raise funds to further advance charities close to his heart — including the Nikki Mitchell Foundation, Marine Corps Toys for Tots, Toby Keith's OK Kids Korral, Feherty's Troops First Foundation, and many more.

Nikki Mitchell Foundation

Jamey helped start the Nikki Mitchell Foundation for pancreatic cancer after his good friend and Waylon Jennings Music President Nikki Mitchell passed away from the disease in July 2013. The foundation was founded to find a means for early detection and the ultimate cure for pancreatic cancer, and continues to provide monthly financial aid to patients while funding research.

Toys For Tots

Toys For Tots

Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is the fundraising and support organization for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Jamey was involved with Toys for Tots while serving as an active Marine, and has continued to support the program through his annual Homecoming events in Montgomery, Alabama — collecting toy donations at the gates every year.
